AWLA hosted Hanging out your Shingle - which covered the dos and donts of setting up as a Barrister sole, at Bankside Chambers Limited on Thursday 13 October 2016.The AWLA was delighted to host this event, one of many they host throughout the year. It was especially helpful to have it at Bankside Chambers in the heart of Auckland Barrister community.The panel speakers were Lady Deborah Chambers, Rachael Reed, Katerina Wendt and Alice Krzanich.

‍They all provided valuable insights into life as a Barrister sole, particularly Lade Chambers who brought a wealth of knowledge to the event.AWLA have already fielded requests for a similar event next year from those who couldn't make it, so they are keen to make it a regular event on their calendar.
