New AMINZ Council appointments for two Bankside Barristers

Mr John Walton, a construction law specialist, arbitrator and Construction Contracts Act adjudicator, as well as a commercial mediator, comes to the presidency after three years on Council.  He was elected Vice President in August 2014.  His roles have included chair of AMINZ International and the arbitration and adjudication portfolios.

Royden Hindle was elected to Council in 2012.  He has over 30 years’ practice variously as a civil litigation partner in a major law firm, barrister, arbitrator, mediator and adjudicator.  He was chair of the Human Rights Review Tribunal from 2001 to 2011.  In addition to his present practice as an arbitrator, adjudicator and mediator, Royden teaches Dispute Resolution at AUT University.
