Christine practices commercial litigation, specialising in insurance, construction and employment law.

Prior to commencing practise as a barrister sole in June 2008 Christine practised litigation in the Auckland office of Bell Gully where she had been a partner for 13 years. On her admission in 1985 Christine worked for a specialist boutique insurance firm in Auckland and also worked for a specialist insurance firm in London in 1990.

Christine's specialist areas of practice have meant that she has appeared as counsel in many forums including the District Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Privy Council as well as the Employment Court and Employment Authority. She also represents clients in arbitrations and mediations and is an Associate of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand.

Professional associations include the New Zealand Insurance Law Association of which she is the immediate past President (2004 to 2007). She is a founding member of the Construction Law Institute of New Zealand, and a member of LEADR. Christine is also a member of the Auckland District Law Society's Prosecuting Panel.
