Anja practices general commercial and civil litigation. She has a particular interest in intellectual property, employment law and commercial arbitration.

Anja holds an undergraduate degree in law from the University of Hanover and an LL.M. from Victoria University of Wellington.

Anja completed her undergraduate studies in law in Germany in 2002. She moved to New Zealand in 2003 and completed her Master's Degree at Victoria University in the same year. Her Master's studies focused on the field of employment law.

After gaining practical experience in a law firm, Anja re-qualified as a New Zealand Barrister and Solicitor and was admitted to the New Zealand Bar in 2008. Before her admission, Anja worked as a law clerk at Bankside Chambers for two years. She became a member of Bankside Chambers in July 2008.

Anja has provided assistance in a wide variety of commercial disputes, including contract, tort, employment and intellectual property claims, and large international commercial arbitrations.

Anja sits on the New Zealand committee of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand.
