Suzanne is a specialist in commercial litigation and relationship property law. She has a LLB (Hons), BCom (1990) and a Masters of Law (First Class Honours) (2006) from Auckland University. She was admitted to the Bar in 1990.

Suzanne has particular interest and experience in the resolution of civil disputes involving claims in contract, property, trust and competition law. In her relationship property practice Suzanne provides advice and opinions at any stage of a relationship including acting as counsel in bringing or defending claims under the Property (Relationships) Act 1976.

Suzanne commenced practice as a Barrister Sole from Bankside Chambers in January 2007. Prior to this, she has worked in the litigation departments of Auckland law firms Chapman Tripp Sheffield Young and Gaze Burt and worked as in-house counsel for a London train leasing company, Angel Trains Limited.

Suzanne has appeared in the High Court, the Family and District Courts and as junior counsel in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

Suzanne co-authored and co-presented the NZLS 2005 seminar Litigation Strategy with Justice Lang and Robert Fisher QC.
