Bankside barrister Aidan Cameron, together with Rowan Butler of Mills Lane Chambers, has acted for the Attorney-General in Sanctuary Community Organic Garden Mahi Whenua Inc v Attorney-General [2026] NZSC 39, in which the Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed an application for leave to appeal from a decision of the Court of Appeal.

On 26 March 2026, the High Court gave a judgment in Gielen & Wyatt v Johnson & Johnson (New Zealand) Limited & Ors. The judgment granted the plaintiff representative orders that will allow the action to proceed as an opt-out class action. JBankside commercial barristers Jason Goodall KC, Lauren Lindsay, and Josh Suyker have been instructed by JGA Saddler to act for representative plaintiffs, in what is expected to be New Zealand’s largest class action by size of the class.
