Lady Deborah Chambers QC was one of four women QC’s who entertained (we understand hilariously) a full house at the Auckland Women Lawyers Association Christmas dinner held on Tuesday 27 November 2018.

The debate topic was Gender equality is not just a women’s issue.  Lady Deborah Chambers QC argued against the motion and dressed appropriately as Germaine Greer, circa mid-70s.  Other members of the debate were Margaret Casey QC (dressed as Jacinda Ardern), Rachael Reed QC (dressed as a wussy anti-feminist women lawyer) and Antonia Fisher QC (dressed as Simon Bridges).

The debate was a roaring success with loud laughter echoing throughout the Northern Club.
