We are delighted to welcome respected lawyer Danielle Kelly as a full member of Bankside Chambers. Her practice includes inquiries and investigations, advising and representing clients in public and administrative law matters and judicial reviews, as well as civil litigation. She also has experience in criminal proceedings as both a prosecutor and defence counsel.

Previously an Employed Barrister to Simon Mount KC, who was appointed a High Court Judge earlier this year, Danielle has built a strong reputation for her expertise across inquiries and public and administrative law, and draws on a breadth of experience that also covers civil litigation and criminal law – alongside a recognised ability to navigate complex matters with compassion and good humour.

Danielle’s significant experience in inquiries includes assisting in both the Abuse in Care Royal Commission and the COVID-19 Lessons Learned Royal Commission, as well as contributing to numerous other governmental and private inquiries and investigations. Danielle frequently serves as counsel assisting the Coroner’s Court.
