Bio

Callum is a junior barrister employed by Jeremy Johnson, whom he has worked with since July 2023.

Callum acts across a broad range of complex civil and commercial litigation, including commercial contract claims, contentious relationship property proceedings, and trust and estate disputes. Callum regularly assists with matters in the Family Court and High Court, as well as in mediations.  He has also appeared in international arbitrations and mediations seated in Singapore.

Callum has extensive experience in high-level mooting and competitive debating. He won the Social Issues Moot in September 2025 and was a finalist in the 2024 Stout Shield Moot and the 2023 John Haigh KC Moot. Callum represented New Zealand at the 2021 World Schools Debating Championships. In 2025, he received the first in course award for trial advocacy at the University of Auckland.

Callum studied his LLB(Hons) degree at the University of Auckland was called to the Bar in June 2026.
