Josie Butcher

Josie is currently working remotely part-time for Brian Dickey and Tiana Epati, whilst studying towards a LLM at London School of Economics and Political Science.

Josie attended Te Waipapa Taumata Rau | the University of Auckland, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science.  During her time at University, she was involved in various mooting competitions including representing the University at the 2020 Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Josie was admitted to the bar in October 2021.

Whilst finishing her honours dissertation Josie worked as a law clerk and then a solicitor at Meredith Connell in a commercial litigation team. Following this she clerked at Te Kooti Mana Nui o Aotearoa | the Supreme Court of New Zealand for Chief Justice Winkelmann.
