Sophie Dixon is employed by Rachael Jones and Josh Suyker.
Sophie attended Te Herenga Waka | Victoria University of Wellington, graduating in 2023 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in English Literature). During university, Sophie worked for the New Zealand Law Reports, was named on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence and received the Kitea Impact | Wellington Plus Award for outstanding contribution to the university. She interned at Meredith Connell and Chapman Tripp, gaining experience in criminal prosecution, class actions, resource management and commercial litigation.
Sophie was admitted to the bar in December 2024.
Before joining Bankside, Sophie was a Judge’s Clerk at Te Kōti Matua | The High Court in Wellington, where she clerked for Justice McHerron and Associate Judge Skelton.
Sophie is on the leadership team of Te Aho Kawe Kaupapa Ture a ngā Wāhine | The New Zealand Women’s Law Journal and supports the Rainbow Law Students’ Society as a regular speaker and mentor.
