Yukie Tan

Yukie is a barrister employed by Sharon Chandra.

Yukie graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology) from the University of Auckland in 2020 and was admitted to the bar in 2021.

Yukie has broad experience across all areas of family law, including relationship property, spousal maintenance, family violence, parenting and guardianship disputes, applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act (PPPR) 1988, and matters involving Oranga Tamariki. Yukie appears regularly in the Family Court and has also appeared in the High Court. She combines pragmatic advice with an empathetic and considered approach to supporting clients through complex and challenging situations.

Prior to joining Bankside Chambers, Yukie practised as a senior solicitor at a well-regarded Auckland firm specialising in family law.
