Bio

Roxanne is employed by Lady Deborah Chambers KC.

She graduated from the University of Auckland in 2020 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physiology. Roxanne was admitted to the bar in 2021.

Roxanne has contributed widely to the legal community, including as a volunteer at Community Law Centres, an editor of the New Zealand Women’s Law Journal and the Auckland University Law Review, and as a judge of the annual Brian Shenkin Memorial Family Law Moot. She has published articles in the Public Interest Law Journal and Auckland University Law Review on mental health law and space law, respectively.

Roxanne began her legal career at Bankside Chambers working for Kelly Quinn KC, before completing postgraduate study in Business Analytics and Communicating Business Insights. She was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Auckland while working for Kelly. Roxanne leveraged her business analytics skill set when undertaking the data analysis for the New Zealand Bar Association Gender Ratio Report 2024.

Prior to starting with Lady Deborah Chambers KC, Roxanne worked in the general litigation team at Russell McVeagh, gaining experience across a broad range of disputes. Her practice now spans high-value litigation and complex relationship property disputes, and she has appeared in the High Court and Family Court.
